A 3 day conference continuing the conversation on how to best help our urban dogs
The conference is centered around exploring the influence of city life on dogs. It caters to a diverse audience, including dog owners/guardians, shelter workers, veterinarians, vet techs, walkers, dog daycare attendants, groomers, and trainers.

Dr. Kristina Spaulding, author of Stress Factor in Dogs, shared practical strategies for reducing stress and fostering confidence and resilience in urban canine companions. Whether attendees were involved with rescues, assisting dogs transitioning to city life, or regularly interacting with fearful dogs, the presentation offered invaluable insights and actionable takeaways.
Emily Strong, co-author of Canine Enrichment for the Real World, led an insightful workshop on enriching the lives of city dogs. She shared practical strategies for addressing challenges like over-exuberance, fear, and reactivity, offering significant benefits for both dogs and their people. Through interactive activities, attendees gained actionable tools to create happier, more resilient dogs and simplify life in urban environments.
Sam brought the Control Unleashed program to the city, offering transformative techniques for dogs facing challenges like reactivity, anxiety, distraction, or impulse control issues. The workshop focused on practical strategies to help dogs thrive in urban environments, even around other dogs. Attendees gained valuable tools to strengthen their bond with their dogs and improve their dogs' focus, confidence, and behavior.
